Boy has it been a while! My last post was the first week of September, coincidentally the week that I started back at school. Work is always hectic, hello working with children is never a breeze, but load being a full time student on top of that already tiring workload and you get one tired girl! I took this time off from my blog to dedicate some serious time to bettering myself and my future, something that I am sure you can all relate to and or understand. Like I always tell my sister, "Sissy when you want something bad enough, A. do it yourself and B. do it right the first time--no time for wasting!". I took my own advice these past few months but with school winding down in a week or so, I figured this was the perfect time to sneak in doing something that I love doing most, chatting with you guys and writing my little heart away!
I decided that I wanted to come back and have my first post be a giveaway. If you follow me on twitter (@alyseap) you would know that a few days ago I stated that I was so thankful that all of my readers seem to be still checking in on my page daily, I feel so loved ;) I wanted to show my gratitude for sticking with me on this journey and for being wonderful ol' you. As stated on twitter, I am going to be doing 3 giveaways over the next few weeks. I wanted to do one that would pertain to the three areas of my blog I find to be the most valuable: food, beauty and instpiration. The first giveaway that I am doing is the beauty giveaway--but you probably already knew that from the photo and the title--hello! haha
I am giving you all two things that I personally love:
1. The Sonia Kashuk Instructional Eye Palette-Matte
2. The Sonia Kashuk Limited Edition Brush Couture 4 piece travel brush set
I am a huge fan of SK not only for her quality but for the affordability and accessibility of her products. She obviously has her consumer in mind!
I have a few SK brushes and I love them--impeccable quality and even better price points. The eyeshadow palette is great for everyday or if you are a beginner with makeup--these colors will help you learn the basics. It is so hard to find great pigmented drugstore eye shadows that are matte. This is an entire palette of matte shadows that will guide you through an everyday nude eye to a dark sultry smoky eye!
HERE ARE THE GUIDELINES TO ENTER THE GIVEAWAY:
- You must be a subscriber to my blog--this is simply because this is where I am going to announce the winner so how else will you be notified?! :)
- You must comment below what your favorite holiday lip shade is or maybe you don't wear anything but chapstick--whatever the case, you must comment below! :)
- You must be 18+ or have your parents permission as I will eventually need your address if you are chosen as the winner.
THIS CONTEST WILL RUN FOR EXACTLY ONE WEEK. 12/9-12/16. I WILL ANNOUNCE THE WINNER CHOSEN AT RANDOM ON MONDAY MORNING 12/17.
Good Luck!

ReplyDeleteSorry I don't wear any makeup, lip sticks, lip gloss etc. I found this site by reading your review for a Conair curling wand that I was looking to buy for my daughter and saw a giveaway. I could not miss out on a chance to win! Just a quick question, would you choose the Conair over the Nume as I know you stated you had both? Thanks for your help!
ReplyDeleteIt's not a problem that you don't wear makeup! Are you into cooking or writing? If so, keep a look out because one of those is going to be my next giveaway :) as far as the curling wands, Conair is a more affordable alternative to something like the NUME one. I use both regularly. The Conair one is a tapered barrel whereas my NUME one is the same width all the way down. This creates a slight difference in style of curl but for the most part that's it. I find that they both create gorgeous curls easily and curls that last a long time! And I don't use hairspray on my hair when I curl it! That says a lot! Haha whichever you choose I'm sure you will be happy. Enjoy! Xo
DeleteI don't wear lipsticks much but I have a big collection of lip balms so that's what I love the most and in Christmas the fave could be Labello in Pomegranate :)

My favorite lipstick is the Revlon Colorburst in Soft Nude matched with Super Lustrous lipgloss in Peach. I'm not a big fan of bright or dark lip colors on myself so I stick to nude and pink tones. Thanks for the giveaway! I've been checking out your blog and I'm so happy I discovered you! You totally rock!
ReplyDeleteI really like wearing the NYX lipstick in ceto :)
